Pisgah Trail Markers

Native Americans used many natural signs to mark trails, water, good hunting sites. They piled rocks, arranged natural signs, and bent the limbs of trees to grow in unnatural angles to attract attention and point the way. These welded sculptures are a tribute to those early inhabitants.
